Ellis and Company Limited was established in 1893 when a group of businessmen took over the existing business of Thomas Horace Ellis. The company was incorporated in 1903.

Products in the early years were varied until 1920 when the company's foundation was laid in the supply of products in the electrical and engineering fields. Leading to the Company's role in the marketplace – that of being ‘specialised suppliers and consultants in electrical & mechanical engineering equipment'. Ellisco have developed a wide range of products to supply to OEM's, Wholesalers and Industry.
